With the coming of Winter the DPW has been coming in early to plow streets and salt/sand corners. A reminder to business owners and home owners, sidewalks are the responsibility of the property owner. Please take the time to clear the sidewalk in front of your residence/business for the convenience of anyone walking. Thank you.

With the new well in place in the Industrial Park some areas have been experienceing high levels of iron. This is in part due to the water flowing in the opposite direction from the original well at the Water Tower park. The iron has been interacting with bleach products residents are using and has caused the water to turn brown in some households. If you are experiencing this please bear with us as we work through this issue. Doing a full Village hydrant flushing should alleviate most of the problem but if you are still experiencing problems after a couple days from flushing, please contact Tom Hippen.

MDOT is looking to grind and cap M-60. Bids have been sent out and are due June 6th. Work should be completed by the end of July. MDOT completed the re-capping of
M-60 in good time for the Riverfest Festivities.
The new structure in the Industrial Park is a well house. A new well has been set with the pump currently being installed along with the well house itself. The new well is up and running.
The 2008 Water Quality Report is available for review. You may get a copy at the Village Hall.
