August 2008
Over the last two years the Mendon DDA has been putting in new water main and a new water plant in the Industrial Park. The DDA received a CDBG to help finance a portion of this project. The project involved watermain upgrades to serve the needs of IAC, iron filtration system improvements and a a new deep well. The project is currently in the last stages of completion at this time.
November 2008
The new water plant is now online! Everything is connected and the water tower is more efficient then ever. Thanks everyone for your support and patience. Had a problem with the new water plant - it was producing more water than the pump could handle. Adjustments have been made and we are now in the process of doing more testing to make sure everything is pumping and flowing correctly.
Centennial was the first to install a dish on the cell tower in the park and now Alltel is in the process of installing a dish.
